TraceLink Named “Cool Vendor” by Leading Analyst Firm

April 7, 2011

WOBURN, MA, April 7, 2011 — Gartner has selected TraceLink, Inc., developer of the TraceLink Network, the world’s first industry-wide supply collaboration network, as one of this year’s “Cool Vendors for Supply Chain Management”*. Finally, the Life Science industry can realize the vision of a demand-driven supply chain through improved integration, information and collaboration across the supply network. As a result, manufacturing and supply chain teams can improve on-time delivery, reduce order-to-cash cycle times, improve right-first-time production, decrease inventory levels and eliminate manual data entry.

Launched in April 2010, the TraceLink Network connects all participants in the supply chain from raw material suppliers and CMO/CPO partners to Life Science companies, distribution firms and pharmacy/hospital dispensation points. Using the TraceLink Network, business owners gain the data access and operational control they need through integrated business modules such as Production Tracking, Material Tracking, Quality Review and Inventory Monitoring.

“The TraceLink Network’s ‘integrate-once, interoperate-with-everyone’ information exchange platform, integrated business process modules and collaborative team workspaces have been built through close collaboration with leading pharmaceutical / biopharmaceutical companies as well as innovative supply partners such as Catalent, Patheon and Sharp,” said Shabbir Dahod, President and CEO of TraceLink. “We believe our selection by Gartner is another confirmation that the TraceLink Network helps companies create strategic supply relationships and improve KPIs by integrating their supply networks to deliver precise, real-time data and shared visibility across supply operations.”
