i2Chem Announces Launch of New Website

July 1, 2011

Cambridge, MA(June 30, 2011) –– i2Chem, the leading UScompany in providing flow chemistry services, has re-launched its website: www.i2chem.com

The new website includes enhanced graphics, more in-depth information about flow chemistry, and an improved user interface. In describing what led i2Chem to re-launch its website, President James N. Little, Ph.D., explains, “When we first formed the company our laser focus was on bringing a revolutionary flow chemistry technology to market, not on the marketing itself. But as i2Chem has grown, we all agreed that it was time that our look-and-feel mirror the uniqueness of our science. We now feel our website portrays the quality of our company.”

About Flow Chemistry

Flow chemistry is a streamlined, fully automated alternative to batch processing. Instead of mixing, heating, pressurizing, testing, and purifying materials in a series of glass vessels, laboratory chemists can use continuous flow chemistry systems to execute all the steps of a chemical reaction in a single uninterrupted sequence. The optimized reaction can then be rapidly scaled up for production. By eliminating the cost and safety challenges of traditional batch methods, flow chemistry frees users to explore a full range of possibilities for development. The small quantities of raw materials required for flow chemistry experiments not only make extensive testing less expensive, but also reduce the risk of chemical reaction hazards.
