McCarter & English Continues to Expand its Intellectual Property Practice with the addition of Harry K. Ahn In New York
New York, N.Y. (April 12, 2012) McCarter & English LLP is pleased to announce that intellectual property attorney Harry K. Ahn has joined the firm’s New York office as a partner. Mr. Ahn focuses his practice on patent prosecution, trademarks and licensing.

Mr. Ahn maintains a practice in all fields of intellectual property law, with an emphasis on patent prosecution, litigation, counseling and licensing. He has been involved in diverse technical areas including telecommunications, electronic circuits, semiconductors, software, business methods, optics, and medical devices. Prior to practicing intellectual property law, Mr. Ahn gained extensive experience as a systems engineer in electronic switching systems and Integrated Services Digital Network (ISDN).

Mr. Ahn is fluent in Korean and regularly lectures on U.S. patent law in Korea. He earned his J.D. from Fordham University School of Law, his M.B.A. in Finance from the Stern School of Business, and his B.S .in Electrical Engineering from Columbia University School of Engineering. He is admitted to the bar in New York and Washington and registered to practice before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office. Mr. Ahn is a member of the New York Intellectual Property Law Association. He comes to McCarter from Abelman, Frayne & Schwab where he was a partner.
