Second round of the International Collaborative Industry Program (ICIP)

May 2, 2014

We would like to invite you to participate in the second round of the MLSC's International Collaborative Industry Program (ICIP). In the first round we awarded four Massachusetts companies with more than $1 million in grant funding, and we have up to $2 million available for the second round!

The MLSC will partner in this round with Victoria, Australia; the Wallonia region of Belgium; Quebec, Canada; Alsace in France, the state of Israel and Medicon Valley in Sweden and Denmark to award funding ($75k-$400k) to support projects demonstrating innovative and collaborative research and development (R&D) in Massachusetts and in the partnering regions. Companies from biotechnology, pharmaceuticals, medical devices, diagnostics and bioinformatics are eligible to submit collaborative project applications.

An eligible project will be in R&D, and will consist of one Massachusetts company and one company from one of the six international partner regions. Awarded companies emerging from this competitive process will each be funded by an agency in their own geography.
