As the Senior Director of DEI and Workforce Development, Warner is responsible for assisting MassBio’s member companies launch, grow, and strengthen their internal diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) initiatives as part of MassBio’s commitment to improve DEI across the life sciences, develop a more diverse talent pipeline, make our members more successful, and better align with patient populations.
Prior to joining MassBio, Warner was the Associate Director for Diversity, Inclusion, and Title IX at Harvard Law School, where he worked closely with leaders across constituencies, staff, students, and alumni, to extend and support their efforts to ensure the rights, dignity, and differences of all were both respected and celebrated.
Additionally, Warner is a Commissioner for the Cambridge LGBTQ+ Commission and also sits on the Board of Directors of Caminar Latino, a national non-profit organization that carries out its mission by aiming to create safe spaces by centering the Latinx experience into social change efforts that will transform the social conditions that give rise to violence.
Warner received a B.A. in Political Science and International Relations from the University of Puerto Rico at Mayaguez, a J.D. from the Pontifical Catholic University of Puerto Rico, an LL.M. in International Legal Studies from American University Washington College of Law, an M.S. in Negotiation and Conflict Resolution from Columbia University, and an Ed.M from Harvard University.
