With Spring in the air, the innovations at UMASS Medical School are blossoming.
Come join us for a Rite of Spring innovation showcase at our Kendall Square Office.
- Jonathan Gerber, Division Chief for hematology oncology and the director of UMMS cancer center. He has developed new methods for identifying leukemia stem cells and distinguishing them from normal hematopoietic stem cells.
- Silvia Corvera, Professor, program in Molecular Medicine and Chair in Diabetes research. Her work is instrumental in understanding the role of adipose tissues in Obesity and Diabetes.
- Jonathan Watts, an associate professor of the RNA Therapeutics institute and a rising star in the field of oligos. His work is transformational in creating modified guides and donors for CRISPR.
