This endeavor was made possible by the acquisition of PrecisionMed, a prominent supplier of high-quality human biological material for neurology drug discovery, biomarker research, and in vitro diagnostics, earlier this year.

BioIVT manages the largest private global repository of longitudinally collected human cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) samples. Its collection contains more than 170,000 samples of banked CSF with matched biomaterials from living normal control and diseased populations.
This neuro-related repository also includes TruNormal® biological control samples collected from donors with normal cognition and no neurological complaint or personal or family history.
All the company’s biospecimens are quality controlled, ethically procured under an institutional review board-approved protocol, and delivered with detailed clinical data, such as the donor’s diagnosis, demographics, family medical histories, treatment responses, and disease progression.
