MassBio Event Collaboration Policy
MassBio hosts many events throughout the year, including members-only forums and premier conferences open to members and non-members for a fee. We also co-sponsor a limited number of events around the region, including seminars and regional conferences. Co-sponsorship does not include financial support. Support is limited to event marketing and promotion.
Generally, MassBio supports events located in Massachusetts, or with a particular focus on and of particular importance to the Massachusetts life sciences industry. We support educational events produced by life sciences companies (biotech, devices, diagnostics, and healthcare), non-profit organizations, colleges and universities, professional societies, and local economic development agencies.
If your event meets those criteria, please submit a written Co-Sponsorship and Collaboration proposal for review by MassBio staff at least two months prior to the event. Please submit proposals to Jennifer Nason.
MassBio does not sponsor events that are commercial in nature, such as marketing and promotional events, and corporately-produced for-profit conferences and events.
Exceptions to this policy are made only in alignment with MassBio goals and with approval from the MassBio President & CEO.
