MassBio, through MassBioEd, also offers workforce development courses and training programs for those looking to find out more about specific disciplines within the industry. All programs are designed and taught by biotechnology industry experts and all employees of MassBio member companies are eligible for a discount on MassBioEd programs! Check out our upcoming courses.
Access to Capital
The new Pharma Days are designed to help our growing biotech members reach partners or investors in the pharmaceutical industry. These highly efficient forums can feature company-specific presentations and one-on-one meetings.
Our Purchasing Consortium partners with leading industry suppliers to provide our members with significant savings on a variety of contracts and services. The Purchasing Consortium is open to all members around the globe.
Members can post job openings or internships on our website at no additional charge.
Public Policy and Advocacy
Our industry experts work closely with policy makers at the local, state and federal levels, educating
them about biotechnology and promoting the best interests of the sector. We are active in shaping responsible legislation and regulatory policies that will benefit the industry.
We work directly with companies looking to locate or expand in Massachusetts, connecting them with expertise, as well as state services and programs. We also collect and disseminate current industry statistics.
We bring the various components of the life sciences supercluster together through several compelling conferences and programs developed around the needs of our members. These events are opportunities for networking, educating and moving the industry forward.
Members can also post their own events on our calendar.
We promote education, workforce development and lifelong learning through the Massachusetts Biotechnology Education Foundation. The foundation customizes training programs for companies and educational institutions and promotes science in the classroom through BioTeach. MassBio Members receive a discount on courses offered by the foundation's Biotech Learning Center.
