Shoosmiths, a proud new member of MassBio, is delighted to invite you to our next seminar: “Clinical Trials, Data Privacy and Artificial Intelligence in Europe: What US Biotechs Need to Know” on Wednesday, 8 May 2024 from 09:45 – 12:30 (EDT) in the MassBioHub, Cambridge (MA).

The European Union is a regulatory powerhouse and the influence of lawmakers in Brussels across the world cannot be overestimated. Indeed, the European Union manages to continuously set standards and have a say in the global playing field by unilaterally regulating its powerful single market and consequentially reinforcing its dominant global status as a rule-maker, including in the field of clinical research.

This seminar provides an opportunity to navigate the interplay between clinical trials, data privacy and artificial intelligence from a perspective of the future European Health Data Space (EHDS).

You will hear from Gauthier Broze, a Partner at Shoosmiths’ Brussels office, specialist in data and privacy for life sciences, certified Data Protection Officer (DPO) and Member of the Board of Belgian Clinical Trial College, who will offer insight into the best way to transform a compliance process into a risk-based management tool.

The seminar is offered exclusively to MassBio members and is free to attend, but places are limited, so please book early to avoid disappointment.

We do hope you can join us.
