Dear all,

Innovation Center Denmark in Boston, in partnership with Invest in Denmark/Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Denmark, is hosting a webinar focusing on industry collaboration on healthcare data on November 18th – please see below for more information and registration.

The Danish Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Danish Association of the Pharmaceutical Industry (Lif) invite you to an exclusive 5 part webinar series on personalized medicine. The webinar series will provide an overview of the Danish research infrastructure and an opportunity for virtual meetings with leading Danish researchers and physicians as well as key officials from public health data organizations, including biobanks, health data, clinical and technology research.

First episode: 18 November 2020 at 4:00-5:00 PM CET

In Episode 1, we explore the visions of the Danish Medicines Agency’s Data Analytics Center (DAC) and the opportunities for industry collaboration. DAC will officially open November 2020 and it will be the first Data Analytics Center of its kind in Europe, supporting regulatory decision-making as well as creating a globally unique research infrastructure to be used by industry partners. DAC will enable the Danish Medicines Agency to offer more precise scientific advice to the pharmaceutical companies on the development of new medicines, including medicines for people with rare diseases and small patient groups.

Over the next years and in close collaboration with other authorities and the research environment, the Danish Medicines Agency will fulfil its ambition to become one of the best-qualified drug regulatory authorities in Europe to apply new data sets and new data analytical tools for the benefit of the general public and society.
