A day-long symposium at the nexus of marine, fishery, and genomic science.
Please join us for an engaging day of science and discussion, with a fantastic lineup of speakers.
This year’s forum will be held on Thursday, November 5th at Cruiseport Gloucester, 6 Rowe Square. Doors will open at 8:00a, followed by a welcome address at 8:45a and the first talk at 9a.
The GMGI Science Forum, the organization’s annual conference, has become a showcase for world-class scientists presenting on a range of topics in marine research, as well as an opportunity to encourage interdisciplinary discussions and new collaborations. What started as a small gathering of marine scientists in a restaurant in 2015 now draws 12 distinguished, headline speakers and over 100 attendees to Gloucester Harbor each Fall.
With speakers traveling from all over the world, the day is divided into a morning and afternoon session, with an hour-long catered lunch to encourage conversation, collaboration and networking. The event is open to scientists, science educators, graduate students and post-docs, as well as citizen scientists who are interested in the represented topics.
2026 Registration Fees:
