About Marie-Louise

Marie-Louise Hovgaard-Sveen, MD, PhD, is a dynamic leader with more than 12 years of experience across the Novo Nordisk (NN) value chain. Her broad leadership experience spans from medical affairs, to global and local launches across the NN portfolio, running clinical trials across our portfolio to building a new Clinical innovation center where early phase studies can be conducted. In line with her interest in transformation and change, she took on the role as head of US R&D Operations at Novo Nordisk’s newly established Boston R&D hub. Marie has a keen interest in understanding what makes us thrive as individuals and teams, and this translates into her high passion for exploring new ways to approach projects and scientific endeavors and engaging with a strong community of leaders and experts.
