About Pat
Pat joined MassBio in October of 2025. As Director of Policy, he helps facilitate the execution of MassBio’s core state and federal government affairs policy priorities and legislative advocacy efforts by developing strategic positioning and messaging related to core polices of MassBio’s member companies. Pat is responsible for developing materials to support MassBio’s advocacy, monitoring policy issues relevant to the Massachusetts life sciences innovation ecosystem, and analyzing state and federal legislation and regulations that impact the life sciences sector.
Before joining MassBio, Pat held roles in both the Executive and Legislative branches at the State House, most recently in Governor Maura Healey’s Legislative Affairs Office, where his responsibilities included reviewing legislation and serving as liaison between the Governor’s Office and the House and Senate. Pat holds a B.A. in Political Science from UMass Amherst and an M.P.A. from UMass Boston.
