The partnership of DLJ Real Estate Capital Partners, Leggat McCall Properties, and Deutsche Finance Group represents the developer team behind BOYNTON YARDS. The partnership combines profound institutional knowledge and financial wherewithal with local expertise. LMP has a deep-rooted understanding of the Greater Boston real estate landscape as well as a multi-disciplinary team to execute on advisory and development services. DLJ has executed over 200 real estate investments and developments with a total transaction value of $16B. The partnership has been working on the Boynton Yards project since 2015 and developed deep relationships with the city of Somerville and community stakeholders.
Comprising 1.8 M SF of mixed-use master-planned development Boynton Yards is located in Somerville, just a 5-minute walk from Union Square and a 15-minute walk from Kendall Square in Cambridge. The first building at Boynton Yards, 101 South Street, a 289,000 SF purpose-built life science building, was completed in 2021 and is fully leased by four companies founded by Flagship Pioneering. The second life science building 808 Windsor Street is an 11-story, 370,000 SF purpose-built lab building with three best-in-class spec suites, delivered in August 2024. At completion Boynton Yards will offer 1.3 M SF of life science and office space, 300 to 400 new multi-family residential units and approximately 100,000 SF of arts and creative studio space.
