Greater New England Minority Supplier Development Council

Academic, Hospitals, & Non-Profit Organizations | Non-Profit Organization
Boston, MA 617-578-8900 Website

Overview

Our mission is to expand business opportunities for Minority Business Enterprises (MBEs), and create mutually beneficial links between Corporate Companies and Minority Business Enterprises. The ultimate outcome is to add economic value to the supply chain while increasing economic opportunities for the minority business community.

The Greater New England Minority Supplier Development Council (GNEMSDC) advances business opportunities for certified Asian, Black, Hispanic and Native American business enterprises and connects them to corporate members. One of the region’s leading corporate membership organizations, GNEMSDC was incorporated in 1975 to provide increased procurement and business opportunities for minority businesses of all sizes.

GNEMSDC is an affiliate of the National Minority Supplier Development Council. GNEMSDC is one of the 24 regional councils represented across the US territories. GNEMSDC serves the six (6) New England States, which are MA, CT, RI, ME, NH, and VT.

We deliver our services to certified minority businesses and corporate members through the core value, which is Certify, Develop, Connect, and Advocate.

Certify – Certify minority businesses on behalf of the corporate members
Develop- Support the development of world-class corporate supplier diversity programs and high-performance MBEs
Connect- We do best by connecting corporate member and certified minority businesses through GNEMSDC signature and networking events
Advocate- We advocate on behalf of the minority business community and corporations in bringing supplier diversity to the next level.
