Overview
Kissei America is the U.S. subsidiary of Kissei Pharmaceutical, a Japanese R&D-oriented pharmaceutical company, with functions in business development and R&D. In 2025, Kissei opened a new office in Cambridge named the Boston Open Innovation Office (BOIO) to increase access to advanced research technologies and seeds, promote open innovation, and strengthen our small molecule drug discovery platform. Through our membership with MassBIO, we hope to connect with many potential partners in the Massachusetts life sciences ecosystem and establish productive relationships that will lead to the creation of game-changing medicines.
