Operating for over 15 years and across 5 global locations, SciSafe provides secure, cGMP-compliant cold storage (-196° to +40° C) for biological and pharmaceutical samples, specimens, and materials, including cryogenic liquid nitrogen (LN2) storage, ultra-low temperature (ULT) storage, frozen storage, refrigerated storage, Controlled Room Temperature (CRT) storage, and more.
SciSafe currently has biostorage offerings such as palletized storage, sample transport (scheduled sample pick-up & delivery to the bench), freezer transport (refrigerated and ULT truck trailers), and beyond. Our fleet of vehicles runs on generator power with two cooling systems, can carry up to 10 plugged-in, powered, and running ULT freezers, has location and real-time temperature monitoring, and is capable of transporting at temperatures between -80°C to -20°C, making it ideal for the movement of biologic products requiring ULT storage without the need for dry ice.
We will begin offering other biorepository support services for the life sciences industry, including clinical trial management, precision cold chain logistics, GMP warehousing, and more. Flexible and scalable, we also construct build-to-suit solutions and custom on-site biopharma storage for unique needs. Our facilities are ISO 20387 (NJ), ISO 9001 (US and NL), and CAP-BAP (US) certified, FDA CDER (US) and CBER (NJ) registered and inspected, and follow 86+ SOPs modeled after FDA 21 CFR parts 210 and 211. We meet the highest standards of quality, accuracy, and consistency from the FDA, EMA, OSHA and CLIA.
