How Well Do You Know the Speakers of our Digital Health Impact 2019?

We recently released the names of the brightest minds in digital health that will be taking the stage at our Digital Health Impact 2019 event on September 9th at the InterContinental. Each renowned in their field and advancing the life sciences through digital technologies, here are some facts you may not have known about these experts:

John Nosta, President, NostaLab, Google Health Advisory Board, and Fortune Magazine Contributor, went to the same high school as Jon Bon Jovi at St. Joseph High School in Metuchen, New Jersey. He is currently ranked as the #1 Global Influencer in Digital Health.

 

 

Dr. Raolat Abdulai, Clinical Research Director, Sanofi was invited to the White House for President Obama’s Innovative Programs Summit.

 

 

 

John D. Halamka, M.D., Executive Director, Beth Israel Lahey Health Technology Exploration Center, is an organic farmer in Sherborn, Massachusetts, overseeing 15 acres of agriculture, 150 animals, and cider/mead making.

 

 

Tanzeem Choudhury, PhD, CEO and Co-Founder, HealthRhythms, built some of the very first mobile sensing systems.

 

 

 

Piali De, Co-founder and CEO, Senscio Systems, is a member of Phi Beta Kappa, Sigma Xi and Sigma Pi Sigma honor societies. She was also the recipient of the National Women of Color’s 2009 Technology Innovation Award.

 

 

 

Luba Greenwood, Senior Advisor to Dana Farber, is originally from Siberia.

 

 

 

Jay Desai, CEO & Co-Founder, PatientPing, received the inspiration for PatientPing from his work designing and implementing alternative payment models with the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Innovation (CMMI). Outside of work, he is an avid runner and loves music.

 

 

Mariya Filipova, VP of Innovation, Anthem, speaks four languages, including Bulgarian, German, and Russian.
