We’re excited to announce that Dr. Helena Mistry has joined Cypher AI as VP of Sales.
Helena brings extensive expertise in business development across the biotechnology and pharmaceutical sectors. She has built her career at the intersection of science and strategy, previously serving in leadership roles at venture-backed life science technology companies including Unlearn.AI and Imeka Inc., where she forged major partnerships with biotech and pharma organizations. Earlier, she advanced business development initiatives at Eurofins Scientific, a publicly traded global leader in contract research and regulatory testing.
Helena’s foundation in science stems from her postdoctoral fellowship at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, Harvard Medical School, where she investigated small molecule inhibitors for leukemia. Her research, published as first author, has contributed to compounds that are now in clinical trials for multiple cancers. She holds a Ph.D. in Pharmacology and Toxicology from the University of Toronto and a B.Sc. in Biomedical Sciences from the University of Waterloo. Blending scientific rigor with commercial insight, Helena is passionate about leveraging her expertise to foster collaborations that accelerate innovation, with the goal of advancing treatments and cures for all diseases.
In her new role at Cypher AI, Helena will spearhead the company’s sales strategy and drive revenue growth. Drawing on her deep network and proven track record of building strategic alliances, she will lead the development of scalable sales processes, cultivate partnerships with leading biotech and pharmaceutical organizations, and expand Cypher’s presence in key markets. By aligning scientific value with customer needs, Helena will play a pivotal role in accelerating adoption of Cypher’s AI-powered platform and delivering measurable impact for researchers worldwide.
