Global law firm Greenberg Traurig, LLP has added Danielle Abramson, Ph.D. as a patent agent in the Boston office. Abramson, who will support the firm’s Intellectual Property & Technology Practice, has spent over two decades supporting life sciences and medical device companies in various aspects to protect their intellectual property rights.
Abramson primarily focuses on patent portfolio strategy and seeking to ensure the protection of new innovations. She has deep experience in performing freedom-to-operate and patentability analyses, as well as investor-side and company-side due diligences. She has worked in both in-house and outside counsel roles, allowing for strategic alignment between internal needs and external advice, and has managed both the business-focused strategic aspects and the detailed technical execution of patent strategy. Abramson holds a Ph.D. in medical sciences from Brown University and a B.S. in mechanical engineering from the Thomas J. Watson College of Engineering and Applied Science at Binghamton University.
