Greenberg Traurig Intellectual Property & Technology Practice Continues Growth in Boston

BOSTON – Nov. 15, 2022 – Global law firm Greenberg Traurig, LLP continues the strategic growth of its Boston Intellectual Property & Technology (IP) Practice with the addition of registered patent attorney Andrew Cull, who joins as an associate. In addition to Cull, the office added five attorneys to its IP Practice this year, including Shareholders Andrew (A.J.) Tibbetts and Gregory S. Bombard, as well as three patent agents.

 

Cull assists clients with a broad range of IP matters spanning various technologies. He is experienced in many phases of patent prosecution and litigation, including initial preparation of patent applications, interfacing with the United States Patent and Trademark Office, drafting court motions, and defending clients against infringement actions. Cull also evaluates and advises clients on IP portfolios in the technology transactions context. His experience includes drafting and editing patent applications for clients in various technologies.

Prior to law school, Cull worked as an aerospace engineer at Pratt & Whitney. As an operability engineer, he created, modeled, tested, and implemented software control schedules designed to control aircraft powerplant behavior. His work allowed airline customers to pursue their business objectives while maintaining compliance with Federal Aviation Administration safety regulations.

 

Cull obtained his J.D. from the University of Notre Dame Law School and his B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Southern California.
