Alison T. Holdway, an associate in global law firm Greenberg Traurig, LLP’s Boston Litigation Practice, was selected for the Women’s Bar Association’s (WBA) 2023 Women’s Leadership Initiative (WLI). The program provides leadership development and mentorship for women attorneys in Massachusetts who have been identified as rising stars in the legal field.
The WBA selected 21 lawyers for its 2023 class and over the next year, the WLI will provide participants with group mentoring, large-scale networking, and one-on-one career development opportunities. From Q&A sessions to events introducing participants to leaders in the Massachusetts legal and business communities, the WLI provides participants with opportunities to work with accomplished women attorneys as well as each other to build their networks and further their careers. The 2023 session begins Jan. 24.
Holdway represents clients in all phases of litigation, from early-stage investigations through appeals. She focuses on complex commercial litigation and white collar defense, including Department of Justice and Securities and Exchange Commission investigations, state prosecutions, and internal investigations. Holdway has experience litigating False Claims Act, civil rights, wrongful death, cybersecurity, medical device products liability, Telephone Consumer Protection Act, breach of contract, unfair or deceptive business practices, breach of fiduciary duty, patent infringement, and general commercial cases, including class action defense. In addition, she is committed to pro bono legal work. Holdway has represented multiple minors in immigration proceedings before the Immigration Court, state courts with jurisdiction over juveniles, and United States Citizenship and Immigration Services.
