BOSTON – Sept. 13, 2022 – Linda M. Ricci, shareholder in the Boston office of global law firm Greenberg Traurig, LLP, was named one of Massachusetts Lawyers Weekly’s 2022 “Top Women of Law.” This highly coveted honor celebrates the exceptional accomplishments of women attorneys as leaders, educators, and mentors, and for their pro bono, social justice, advocacy, and business efforts. Ricci and fellow award recipients will be honored at a reception in Boston Nov. 16.
A shareholder in the firm’s White Collar Defense & Special Investigations Practice, Ricci focuses on matters related to corporate compliance and internal investigations, government investigations, money laundering violations, criminal tax offenses, forfeiture, wire fraud, securities fraud, theft of public funds, obstruction of justice, insider trading, and health care fraud. She draws from more than 15 years of experience working for the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the District of Massachusetts, where she served as chief of the Narcotics and Money Laundering Unit and was a member of the Economic Crimes Unit.
Ricci also has experience handling internal investigations in a variety of industries, including the pharmaceutical industry, the medical device industry, the international vitamin industry, and the airline publication industry. She conducts internal investigations, handles grand jury matters, responds to regulatory and law enforcement requests, and provides legal advice to public and private corporations, boards of directors, special committees, and officers, and individuals.
Ricci is an active member of the firm’s Women’s Initiative, the firm’s Trial Practice, and the Women’s White Collar Defense Association (Thought Leadership Committee).
Outside the office, Ricci is a member of the National Charity League and the Middlesex Chapter (sustaining member), and she volunteers at Open Table Maynard, a local food pantry and community meal service. She is a member of the Yale Law School New England Steering Committee and is an admissions ambassador/interviewer for Dartmouth College. Ricci also regularly volunteers at her children’s school in Concord, Massachusetts and has served on the School Advisory Council for Concord Public Schools.
