Research in the Era of COVID-19

Posted by

The COVID-19 pandemic has raised urgent questions for health systems and stakeholders around the world — revealing critical gaps in healthcare systems and opportunities to improve in the short and long-term. To support timely research initiatives and enable the sharing of insights during this extraordinary time, the IQVIA Institute is launching a new Human Data Science Research Collaborative initiative.

Through this initiative, the IQVIA Institute will support research proposals on the transformation of healthcare systems in the COVID-19 era by waiving data access fees to the E360 and SMART data technology platforms.

To learn more about the collaborative, the data technology platforms, and to formally apply, please visit the IQVIA Institute for Human Data Science.

As the COVID-19 pandemic unfolds in real-time, the IQVIA Institute is working to provide timely resources to support research and public health decision making including: an Institute Report on the impact of COVID-19 on the U.S. healthcare system, the IQVIA COVID-19 Active Cases Curve Simulator that models simulations of active COVID-19 cases at state, regional, and country levels, and a Human Data Science Perspectives article series that examines early learnings of the pandemic.
