September is Blood Cancer Awareness Month. According to the National Cancer Institute, an estimated 88,240 cases of lymphoma and 67,790 cases of leukemia will be diagnosed in the United States in 2026. Blood cancer impacts people of all ages, but risk factors such as age, genetics, biological sex, and environment can impact certain groups at a higher level. Blood cancer is a serious diagnosis, but many safe and effective treatments are available.
In support of Blood Cancer Awareness Month, NCCN Foundation® is proud to share our library of Patient Resources tailored to the unique needs of those impacted by blood cancer. Written in plain language, these resources provide cutting-edge information on testing, diagnosis, and treatment options to empower people with cancer and help them confidently participate in their care.
Our full library of NCCN Patient Resources for blood cancer can be accessed here, including a patient-centered webinar and language translations designed to combat barriers to informed cancer care.
Employers interested in supporting their workforce through these free blood cancer resources are encouraged to contact NCCN Foundation through our consultation request form.
