October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month! In recognition of this important health initiative, NCCN Foundation is proud to share our library of Patient Resources designed to encourage screening and support people with breast cancer, their caregivers, and families impacted by the disease.
Screening can play a critical role in better health outcomes, as breast cancer that is detected early is easier to treat. Routine screening lowers the mortality risk of cancer significantly, saving about 1 life for every 200 people screened.
Click here to access our full library of NCCN Patient Resources for breast cancer. Comprehensive, easy-to-understand information on screening, diagnosis, and treatment options for breast cancer at every stage can make a meaningful difference in the lives of those affected.
Employers interested in making these resources available for free to their workforce are invited to contact NCCN Foundation through our consultation request form.
