BEVERLY, Mass. (August 28, 2024) – Rucker Investments has doubled its footprint in Beverly after just one year at 500 Cummings Center. Following a largescale custom buildout completed by Cummings’ in-house teams, the family-owned firm now occupies 15,000 square feet of custom office space.
Rucker Investments was established in 2022 by Cliff and Susan Rucker to help businesses across industries rebound from financial downturns through transformative investment opportunities. Its philanthropic affiliate, The Cliff and Susan Rucker Charitable Foundation, seeks to mirror that transformative impact within the greater community by awarding grants to nonprofits throughout Massachusetts.
Rucker Investments earned acclaim in 2023 for its successful revival of historic Worcester organization Table Talk Pies. The family office continues to grow at a rapid pace, according to Cummings senior account manager Mary Carroll.
“Cummings’ ability to move quickly to support client growth makes it an ideal partner for businesses with evolving space needs,” said Carroll. “Our in-house design and construction capabilities allow us to meet even specialized space requirements with the maximum time and cost efficiency.”
Carroll and Cummings designer Raeanne Evitts worked with Cliff and the Rucker team to plan and execute the expansion. Notable features of the new space include a dynamic circular glass conference room with custom designed wood columns, a full kitchen, and curated finishes throughout.
Cliff Rucker also operates a second major venture at Cummings Center, NFS Leasing. Founded in 2007, NFS is a story lender specializing in fast, flexible equipment financing and secured loans for small and middle-market non-investment-grade companies in North America.
NFS Leasing first rented a modest office at Cummings Center in 2007 and has since undergone multiple expansions to become a 20,000-square-foot operation. According to Carroll, NFS and Rucker Investments now lease a combined 35,000 square feet.
“Cliff is a successful businessperson with real estate holdings of his own, and he continues to choose Cummings as a place to start and grow his ventures,” said Carroll. “We value the strong relationships we’ve built with the Rucker family—as with Cummings, they’re very community minded in their approach to business.”
Rucker Investments is a family office with diversified holdings that seeks out investment opportunities to assist companies that are experiencing challenging periods in their business lifecycle. Its team is dedicated to making financial decisions to create long-term positive change in each business and the broader communities in which it operates.
