Massachusetts biopharmaceutical companies saw a dramatic rise in female leadership over the last four years — but not in the C-suite, according to a report released Wednesday from MassBio.
Female representation at the board level rose by 164%, based on a survey of 85 companies that MassBio — a not-for-profit organization with more than 1,400 members from the life sciences sector — says is representative of the broader industry in Massachusetts.
