Tufts University College is launching a new portfolio of life sciences professional development offerings designed to help professionals advance their careers in one of the world’s fastest-evolving industries.
The new portfolio features eight flexible, self-paced online micro-credentials developed by subject matter experts across the sector. Each micro-credential equips learners with skills designed to support lifelong career growth in the life sciences, including research and development, business operations, project management and strategic communications.

The portfolio, which is presented by The Center for Professional and Workforce Impact at Tufts University College, reflects a growing demand for talent that can bridge scientific expertise with the critical business and operational capabilities needed to foster innovation and drive progress.

The new micro-credentials draw on Tufts University’s longstanding leadership in interdisciplinary life sciences education and research. University College partnered with experts from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine, Accura Bio Solutions, and more, incorporating concise lectures, case studies, and practical assignments.
Beginning in July 2026, learners can choose from the following list of micro-credentials:
