Genicity, founded in 2021 by Muhammad Yassin, MD, PhD, and Muneer Sawaied, MD, is an innovative Galway-based cell therapy company. With lab-scale manufacturing nearly complete, Genicity is preparing to transfer the process to a GMP facility. The company is actively engaging with major cancer centers across Europe, the US, and Japan to advance clinical translation. Genicity aims to deliver Phase 1 clinical data for GY301 (ENABLR cells combined with Tarlatamab) in small cell lung cancer within the next two years, marking a significant milestone in the development of next-generation cancer immunotherapies.
