Over the years, the role that Artificial Intelligence (AI) has played in drug discovery and development has increased substantially. Drug design and drug screening are relying more and more on computer based techniques to scan large libraries of compounds for evaluation purposes. Such a process frees up the researchers’ time and allows them to design better medicines, even faster with the ultimate goal of improving human health.
