Mitigating Measurement Risk
How Does the Test Uncertainty Ratio (TUR) impact measurement?
Measurement uncertainty is the range of values in which the true value lies; think of it as the possible error in a measurement. The lower the TUR (Test Uncertainty Ratio), the higher the probability of false accept or false reject. Risk based guardbanding can be used to mitigate this false accept or reject.
