Help us understand the human capital diversity within the Massachusetts life sciences sector

Aug 01, 2016

Today we launched a new partnership with Liftstream to conduct an extensive study of the human capital diversity within the life sciences sector in Massachusetts. We are inviting both companies and individual professionals to participate by providing information about their leadership talent pipelines, while also collecting information from individual professionals who are employed, unemployed or have even left the sector to understand the factors determining career advancement.

We are inviting you to take the 7-10 minute survey if you are:

  1. a professional working in the life sciences sector
  2. a company (company survey is estimated to take 20 minutes)
  3. an unemployed professional looking for a position in the life sciences
  4. a professional that left the life sciences sector

The anonymized data will be collated and presented in the fall. Respondents will also have the option to volunteer their involvement in a longitudinal study which will run subsequent to this.

The survey and resulting analysis is one piece of a new MassBio Gender Diversity Initiative launching this fall, which aims to meaningfully impact gender diversity within the industry, growing women’s participation on corporate boards, at the executive leadership levels, and throughout our member companies’ employee bodies.

Please help us with this important initiative by taking the survey

To quote our President & CEO Bob Coughlin: “We are excited to convene the industry and harness the collective effort to truly impact diversity throughout life sciences.”
