A Look at the MassBioEdge Supplier Diversity Program

Feb 17, 2022

By Madelline Weidanz, Marketing Analyst, MassBio

Through the MassBioEdge Savings & Rewards program, we’ve created a Supplier Diversity Program, where we connect minority-owned businesses with our members. We have partnered with Center for Women & Enterprise (CWE), Greater New England Minority Supplier Development Council (GNEMSDC), and Diversity Alliance for Science (DA4S) to identify minority-owned businesses that could benefit from our savings and rewards program, but more importantly, how MassBio can increase competition, customer service, and economic opportunities for under-represented groups.

February is Black History Month and the Association for the Study of African American Life and History (ASALH) chooses a theme each year. This year’s theme is Black health and wellness. Below are two Black-owned businesses that are committed to health and wellness:

Trillfit is a Black-owned and purpose-driven wellness company changing the face of boutique fitness. They believe that fitness should be fun, inclusive, and set to the illest soundtrack. They offer classes for every level. MassBio members receive a 15% off personal training packages and MassBio companies receive a 15% off private class booking. Learn more here.

True Moringa

True Moringa is an award-winning Black-owned natural skincare & wellness brand powered by the superfood moringa tree. Working directly with 5,000 small farming families throughout Ghana to cultivate and produce our natural ingredients, they have planted over 2 million moringa trees. Their organic farm is home to the largest solar-powered irrigation system in West Africa. MassBio members receive 15% off plus free shipping. Learn more here.
