Massachusetts has long been regarded as the #1 life sciences cluster in the world – and for good reason. We’re home to more than 100 colleges and universities, 70,000+ industry employees, five of the top six NIH-funded hospitals, and 18 of the top 20 largest pharmaceutical companies in the world. And while the industry is still most concentrated in the Cambridge-Boston area, we’re seeing more companies open shop in all corners of the Commonwealth. When looking at our new member recruitment for 2018, nearly half of all new members were located outside of the Greater Boston area, in places like Worcester, Beverly and Lowell.
We know our members are busy researching and developing new breakthrough cures for patients, and we also know it’s not always easy to come to Kendall Square when you’re located outside of Cambridge or Boston. We hear you. And we’re coming to YOU!
